Mills Says 'Simple Border Shut' Prevents Chinese Taking Advantage of Border Crisis

China, whether officially or not, is taking advantage of the ongoing border crisis, as over twenty thousand military-age men have crossed into America, and Chinese criminals aid the cartels in laundering money. Representative Cory Mills (R-FL) briefly discussed the issue during a recent appearance on Fox Business's Mornings with Maria, saying it was entirely preventable with "a simple border shut."

Back in March 2021, Newsweek described how criminal organizations from China were working with the Mexican drug cartels to launder money through Chinese banking apps. Given the strict surveillance enforced by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), they either actively help as a means of undermining America or at least allow it to happen for the same reason. This coincides with the fact that much of the fentanyl smuggled over the border, killing thousands of Americans every year, is manufactured in China or Mexico with Chinese-made ingredients.

More recently, UnHerd detailed how many Chinese migrants have consolidated in Panama's Darien Gap, sparking fears of further government involvement.

Rep. Mills said in his Fox Business appearance that the Darien Gap had "intelligence operations that actually stopped certain pill presses from being able to get in there for more fentanyl that is coming across."

"So they are not only utilizing this as a mule to come here that is killing 70 to 100,000 Americans every year, but like you said, they are creating this as a business and revenue stream," Rep. Mills continued, adding the prepaid cards migrants receive will not only be used to pay off the cartels, but some of that money will invariably go to the CCP.

Mills had previously told The Floridian about how easily the cartels would exploit the Senate bipartisan border deal introduced in January, and the prepaid debit card program for migrants in areas such as New York City would see use by the migrants to pay off the cartels for smuggling them into America.

"So we literally are having taxpayers paying into these criminal organizations as well as for the CCP on the back of what could be closed tomorrow with a simple border shut," Mills concluded.
