Chinese Balloon Talk a Bunch of Hot Air

Senator Marco Rubio has dismissed the talking point that in the past, China has floated over spy balloons like the one that was recently shot down over the Atlantic Ocean, have also traversed the U.S.

Sen. Rubio said that anyone telling you that this has happened before is a liar. READ MORE

Running on Socialism

Democrats across the nation ran on socialism and lost in 2020 and 2022, and it seems as if they haven’t learned their lesson going into the 2024 presidential election cycle.

But while many Democrats are mesmerized and convinced that Democratic Socialism and socialism are good, one Florida lawmaker warns of the dangers of the ideology.

Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick recently said that there is a big difference between Democratic socialism and socialism, but that many Democrats don’t understand or have known what it is to endure socialism or communism.

“In Florida, we have a special connection, especially in South Florida when it comes to socialism, and communism, and dictators,” said Rep. Cherfilus-McCormick. “Most of the people fleeing their countries in the ‘60s, ‘70s, even the ‘80s, were dealing with persecution from socialist regimes, from communist regimes, even dictators,” said Rep. Cherfilus-McCormack.

Debts Ceiling Dealers

The national debt currently sits at $31 Trillion, and it appears it will go up now that lawmakers in Washington begin to negotiate the debt ceiling.

Republicans like Rep. Vern Buchanan are pushing for a balanced budget amendment, while Reps. Jared Moskowitz, Wasserman Schultz, and other House Democrats want to increase the national debt to pay for programs like Social Security and Medicare. READ MOR
