Nikki vs Charlie: The Drama Continues

“C’mon Charlie, what are you afraid of,” asked AG Commissioner Nikki Fried of Rep. Charlie Crist in a short TikTok video about skipping debates.

Commissioner Fried called out Rep. Crist, alleging that he backed out of another Democratic gubernatorial debate.

“Charlie, the only thing that you’ve ever fought for was your career,” added Fried.

Less than an hour after Fried posted her video screed against Crist, Crist released his own video confirming his appearance at the scheduled July 21 debate.

“Nikki, I look forward to our debate on July 21st,” said Crist before wishing everyone a happy 4th of July.

In response to Crist’s video, Fried stated:

“You’ve backed out of 80% of our debates. If you have the time to do this, then you have the time to debate. If you’re going to record a video, apologize for appointing an “anti-choice extremist” to Florida’s Supreme Court.”

Since the Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe vs. Wade came down, Fried has been riding the pro-choice wave, slamming Crist for his past pro-life position as a Republican.

This primary race between Crist and Fried could be one of the wildest rides we have been on in quite some time. Grab the popcorn because the circus is coming to town.
