Florida Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Blaise Ingoglia and Florida Agricultural Wilton Simpson each won their respective Republican primaries in landside victories on Tuesday night.
Both CFO Ingoglia and Commissioner Simpson were expected favorites.
Florida Chief Financial Officer:
Blaise Ingoglia: 61%
Frank Collige: 39%
The Republican Party of Florida celebrated CFO Ingoglia's victory on social media. Ingoglia was appointed CFO by Gov. Ron DeSantis in July 2025.
"Congratulations to @GovGoneWild on securing the Republican Nomination for CFO! As Florida’s Fiscal Watchdog, he’s cutting waste, protecting taxpayers, and keeping Florida affordable. Let’s keep him on the job! November, here we come," the Florida GOP wrote.
Florida Agricultural Commissioner:
Wilton Simpson: 69%
Matt Tayor: 31%
The Republican Party of Florida also celebrated Commissioner Simpson's win on social media.

CFO Ingoglia will matchup against Democratic candidate Annette Taddeo in the general election. Taddeo, a former State Senator, defeated candidate Earle Ford in the Democratic primary with 66% of the vote.
The Florida Democratic Party celebrated Taddeo's win on social media.
"Annette Tadeo has spent her career asking the tough questions and demanding real answers. Congratulations to, @Annette_Taddeo, the Florida Democratic nominee for CFO! Ready to take on Blaise Ingoglia's insurance crisis and finally deliver relief for Florida families," the Florida Democratic Party wrote.Â
Agricultural Commissioner Simpson will face off against Democratic candidate Joey Mendoza Atkins in the general election. Atkins defeated challenger Donald A. "Don" Prichard with 60% of the vote in the Democratic primary.
The Florida Democratic Party also congratulated Atkins on social media.
"Joey Mendoza Atkins is running to root out the corruption that's made groceries unaffordable for Florida families. The fight to bring costs down starts now," the Florida Democratic Party wrote. "Congratulations to @JoeyforFlorida our Democratic nominee for Commissioner of Agriculture & Consumer Services!"
No Party Affiliation candidate Kyle Gibson is also on the general election ballot.
The general election is Nov. 3.
