Former U.S. Rep. and gubernatorial candidate Gwen Graham (D) took a cheap shot against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R), trying to marginalize him as someone who can't make decisions on his own.
"People don’t change. Unless the @GovRonDeSantis that I knew in Congress suddenly became an engaged political tactician, the decisions of the DeSantis administration are being made by a team of advisors including his wife. She is sharp," tweeted Graham.
DeSantis ally and friend, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R) quickly came in to block and tackle, putting an emphasis on how "fantastic" First Lady Casey DeSantis was.

Graham's assault on DeSantis did not end with just one tweet, the former failed Democratic gubernatorial candidate's unleashed several nuclear tweet volleys, going as far as to say DeSantis did not care about the gay community or gun violence.
Graham even took a shot at Education Commissioner Richard Corcoran, saying "the man hates public education."
If DeSantis actually cared about a quality education for all students, he would have shunned the advances of @JebBush/@richardcorcoran and the for profit education industry in Florida. I was sick when I heard about Corcoran becoming Commissioner. The man hates public education.

If DeSantis actually cared about the LGBTQ community, he would have expanded anti-discrimination protections to include sexual orientation and gender identity. A “bait” trip to the Pulse nightclub without action is just what it is - a photo op and nothing more.

If DeSantis was concerned about gun violence and mass shootings, he would have vetoed the @NRA bill that arms our teachers. More guns =‘s more deaths. Hard stop. But, with an NRA endorsed, A rated Gov, Marion Hammer got what she wanted. Even @SenRickScott stood up to her on that.

We'll go on a limb and say it. It sounds as if Graham is prepping the field for another run for governor in 2022, but this time it appears she is first using the 'fling the manure around first' campaign tactic.
