Florida Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Blaise Ingoglia released a digital ad this week emphasizing his politically incorrect approach to public service in his pursuit of a full term as CFO through a campaign release.
The over one-minute ad, titled "Unapologetic," stresses CFO Ingoglia's straightforward style to the job with a series of "controversial" topics built into mainstream society.
"I speak four languages: English, profanity, sarcasm, and real s***," Ingoglia said. "I'm politically incorrect. I say Merry Christmas and God bless America. I own guns. I eat meat, and I really love bacon. I stand when I hear the national anthem, and I thank our troops and our first responders every chance I get."
"And if that offends you, well, I don't care," Ingoglia added. "Growing up, my mama said I could be anything I wanted, so I decided to be a problem for Democrats and some Republicans. I'm not afraid to take on the establishment or the special interests."
A New York native, Ingoglia was appointed CFO in July 2025. The state's fiscal watchdog, Ingoglia has uncovered $3.7 billion in excessive and wasting spending by counties and municipalities through his Florida Agency for Fiscal Oversight (FAFO) during his tenure.
"I humbly ask for your support and your vote, so I continue to take on the radical left, both in Tallahassee and Washington D.C," Ingoglia said. "I'll never give up. I'll never back down. I'll continue to fight because Florida, she is worth fighting for."
CFO Ingoglia is in a Republican primary with Frank Collige. Annette Tadeo and Earle Ford are running on the Democratic ticket.
The primary is Aug. 18, with the general election on Nov. 3.
Prior to assuming the role, Ingoglia served in the Florida House and Senate, and was chair of the Republican Party of Florida. Ingoglia is also Florida's Fire Marshal.
"This state is unlike any other state in the nation," Ingoglia added. "We'd like to keep it that way. America first, Florida always."
