Incumbent Congresswoman Lois Frankel (D-Fla.) has received endorsement from one of the nation’s leading safety groups as she seeks reelection in Florida’s newly drawn 23rd Congressional District (FL CD 23).

Brady PAC, the political action group of Brady: United Against Gun Violence, has endorsed the veteran congresswoman for her unwavering advocacy for gun violence prevention and safer communities across the country.

“As a grandmother, keeping our children and families safe is deeply personal to me. It is also one of my most important responsibilities as a member of Congress. That’s why I’ve always stood with both gun violence survivors and law enforcement officers to fight for commonsense safety reforms that respect responsible gun ownership,” The FL CD 22 Representative affirmed.

"Congresswoman Lois Frankel has been a steadfast champion for commonsense gun violence prevention and a fearless advocate for safer communities. At a time when extremists are putting our communities at greater risk, Congresswoman Frankel continues to stand up for safer neighborhoods, stronger laws, and every American's fundamental right to live free from gun violence,” Brady PAC president, Kris Brown affirmed.

Rep. Frankel Awarded Prominent Gun Violence Prevention Distinction

In addition to the endorsement, Rep. Frankel was also awarded the Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate Distinction.

According to Gun Sense Voter, the award, although it’s not an endorsement, is a program that signals the organization’s nationwide supporters, volunteers, and gun safety voters, “that, if elected, a candidate will govern with gun safety in mind.”

“I’m honored to have earned the support of Brady PAC and to receive the Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate Distinction. Together, we will continue working to reduce gun violence, protect our children, and ensure that every Palm Beach County family has the opportunity to live in a safe community,” the Palm Beach Democrat affirmed.

Congresswoman Frankel has also recently received endorsements from prominent human rights and labor organizations.
