Republican congressional candidate Michael Carbonara announced he has been endorsed by HUCKPAC for America in his race for Florida's 22nd District.
HUCKPAC for America is a conservative political action committee committed to electing Republican candidates who advocate for conservative principles. Former Arkansas Gov. Mick Huckabee established the PAC in 2008.
Mike Huckabee's son, David Huckabee, is the current chairman of the PAC.
"Our nation stands at a critical crossroads with so much at stake. It's why we need conservative leaders like Michael Carbonara in Washington," Huckabee said.
"Michael's extraordinary success as an entrepreneur and his personal commitment to the values that build strong families and communities will represent Florida well in the House and help put our nation on the right track. Our family's commitment to electing great conservatives and giving the next generation of Americans a great America is dependent on electing candidates like Michael," Huckabee added.
Notably, Carbonara is expected to appear with Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the daughter of Mike Huckabee and David's brother, and Gov. Ron DeSantis in Miami Beach on Tuesday.
District 22 covers a large area from southern Collier County and Hendry County to inland Palm Beach and Broward County to the east. Carbonara was previously running in District 25 before Florida passed a new congressional map earlier this month.
Carbonara, an entrepreneur and business owner with a background in cryptocurrency, thanked HUCKPAC for America for its endorsement.
"There's a reason patriotic families like the Huckabees from across our country are getting on board with our campaign," Carbonara said. "They understand what's at stake, and they understand that this district, this state, and this nation need leaders who have actually built something.
