Former Florida Democratic State Sen. Linda Stewart is being accused of doxxing ICE [Immigration Customs and Enforcement] agents on Facebook by Conservative commentator Laura Loomer. The post, allegedly from Stewart's account, said "ICE in Lynx Central Station downtown."
"Linda Stewart @LindaStewartFL, a Democrat Florida State Senator from Orlando, is doxxing ICE on her Facebook account & actively tracing their activities in Orlando in an effort to undermine & interfere in ICE raids," Loomer said. "I believe this is illegal in Florida!"
Lynx Central Station is a multi-transit commuter rail and public bus system near Amelia Street and Garland Avenue in Downtown Orlando. Stewart served the area in the Florida Senate from 2016 to 2024.
"Doxxing" is defined as the search and publication of private or identifying information about a particular individual on the internet, usually for harmful or malicious intent by the doxxer or others against the subject.
Stewart, at least by the post shared by Loomer, does not mention any specific information about an ICE agent or a particular threat. However, the post still raises eyebrows as ICE agents come under threat as they conduct federal immigration raids under the Trump administration.
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier responded to Loomer's post later on Monday, saying, "@LindaStewartFL harassing law enforcement to prevent them from doing their jobs is unlawful in Florida."
Uthmeier also called on Orange County State Attorney Monique Worrell, a Democrat, to look into the accusation.
"Stop playing politics with the lives and safety of law enforcement officers," Uthmeier added.
According to a July 1st post from Fox News' Bill Melugin, assaults against ICE agents conducting immigration enforcement were up 700% over the same time last year, per the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Specifically, DHS reported 10 assaults on ICE and other federal immigration agents from Jan. 21, 2024, to June 30, 2024. There were 79 assaults on authorities from Jan. 21, 2025, to June 30, 2025, or a 690% increase over both periods.
ICE agents were also attacked at the Prairieland Detection Center in Alvarado, Texas, where ten people were charged with attempted murder after shooting fireworks toward federal agents on July 4.
According to investigators, the attackers also sprayed the facility and cars with derogatory terms toward immigration agents, such as "traitor" and "ICE pig."
President Donald Trump also speculated whether the attacks were being funded by far-left groups following the incident.
