Florida Republican Senator Rick Scott demands that Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist organization, release the Israeli citizens it took hostage during the October 7, 2023 attacks.

“Don’t look away — For 670 days, innocent hostages have endured starvation, torture, and unimaginable abuse at the hands of Iran-backed Hamas terrorists. We cannot give up. We must BRING THEM HOME NOW!” he said.

Sen. Scott issues his demands in response to videos showing two Israeli hostages being released, including one in which a hostage is seen “digging his own grave.”

Twenty-four-year-old Evyatar David, an Israeli hostage abducted from the Nova Music Festival during the Oct. 7 attacks, was shown emaciated and pale, as he was forced to dig his own grave in a cramped underground tunnel.

According to a PBS interview with Evyatar's cousin, David looks like “a broken man.”

“I was terrified to see my cousin like that. He barely looks like my own cousin. He doesn't even sound like him. And I could see in his eyes the loss of hope and the fact that they actually managed to break his spirit using these horrible terror tactics of starving him deliberately, of giving him no stimulate, of having no sun, of having no hope of being survived.” he added.

The cousin continues by debating the topic of humanitarian aid not reaching the Gaza Strip, where he claims that Hamas is responsible for taking all of the assistance and hoarding it for their gain.

“I think it gives Hamas power by seeing that the world believes their propaganda, saying there is not enough humanitarian aid getting into the Gaza Strip, while neglecting the effect of Hamas of taking the humanitarian aid, of not giving it to the people, taking it to their own terrorist people, and to make sure that they have more profit.” he said. “They take the humanitarian aid and take it to their own tunnels or sell it again on the street in extremely high prices; they just cause the people to starve again.”
