DeSantis Signs Heartbeat Bill Into Law
It didn’t take long before the Florida Legislature passed the 6-week “heartbeat" abortion ban bill that Gov. Ron DeSantis signed the measure into law.
Just ours after the bill's passage in the House of Representatives. Gov. DeSantis signed the bill in his office, surrounded by pro-life women, including State Senator Erin Grall (R), who sponsored SB 300.
Historic Flooding Hits Democratic Blue Broward County
Gov. DeSantis did not miss a beat when record rainfall fell on East Broward County, causing massive flooding this week, declaring a state of emergency for the Fort Lauderdale area.
