Do all Floridians Support Gov. Ron DeSantis's Agenda?

With Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis continuing to flex his executive muscles, and after absolutely crushing Florida Democrats in the 2022 Midterm elections, do most Florida voters support his efforts to transform the state of Florida?Remember, like it or not, Gov. DeSantis enjoys a very clear mandate. But while Republicans love him and most Democrats hate him, Independent voters appear to take pause over the Governor’s efforts to take down Disney, DEI, and CRT.

A new poll shows Independents breaking away from arguably the most popular governor in America on those issues.

Drag Show Aftermath

The Executive office of the Governor released a complaint it filed through the Department of Business and Professional Regulations against the Hyatt Regency Miami for selling alcohol at a drag show where kids were present.

The Floridian first broke the story of the drag show controversy last December and its video interview of a mother and her 12-year-old daughter at the Miami show sealed the Hyatt’s fate.

The video is part of the evidence used against the venue. MUST READ

"DeSantis's Florida Legislature Looks to Scrap Rick Scott's Gun Buying Restriction" by The Floridian's Javier Manjarres and NSF—TALLAHASSEE — With backing from Speaker Paul Renner, a House panel on Monday approved a bill that would lower the minimum age from 21 to 18 to buy rifles and other long guns in Florida, and would scrap the part of the gun law former Gov. Rick Scott signed 5 years ago.
