The social media company Youtube has censored The Floridian and removed a recent video of Rep. Charlie Crist (D) saying that President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, were a "godsend" for America.
Days before he announced this third gubernatorial run in Florida, The Floridian obtained a Zoom video of Rep. Charlie Crist (D) calling the Electoral College, criticizing Rep. Matt Gaetz (R), and praising President Biden, Vice President Harris, Speaker Pelosi, and Senate Majority Leader Schumer.
According to the social media company, the video "has been removed for violating Youtube's policy on spam, deceptive practices, and scams."
Earlier this year, Twitter censored another Floridian story that covered Gov. Ron DeSantis' shaming of CBS' "60 Minutes" segment where the media outlet was caught using edited video to frame the narrative that DeSantis was committing "pay-to-play" with COVID-19 vaccinations.
Youtube also removed another video DeSantis posted about a medical panel discussing the COVID pandemic.
Just a couple of weeks back, DeSantis signed into law a House bill to penalize social media companies like Youtube for canceling individuals that are running for public office.
We have appeals the removal of the video because in review the video, there is not one violation of Youtube's policies. The video clearly shows Rep. Crist in the video stating what we have written about him praising Democratic leadership. Here is the original video that was uploaded to Twitter. They didn't censor the video, why did Youtube?
@RepCharlieCrist takes issue with Electoral College.
"I don’t think we need that anymore. I think it's kind of archaic," said Crist before saying that Biden and Pelosi are a "godsend" to America #Flpolhttps://t.co/BhkucfoW97 pic.twitter.com/rVBa8sTdiF— Javier Manjarres (@JavManjarres) April 29, 2021
