Florida Rep. John Rutherford (R) has endorsed Florida Senate President Wilton Simpson (R) in his bid for Florida’s Agriculture Commissioner.

Grover Norquist, the president of Americans for Tax Reforms, released a statement endorsing Simpon.

TALLAHASSEE --- Chuck Nadd, a Winter Park resident who flew helicopters for the U.S. Army, filed paperwork Monday to battle Senate President Wilton Simpson in the Republican primary for state agriculture commissioner.

This week, Simpson has picked up more endorsements as Florida’s Attorney General Ashley Moody (R) and Florida’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jimmy Patronis (R) have expressed their support.
