Crist’s office noted that the bill “requires the Department of Veterans Affairs to adhere to an expedited process to expand Agent Orange coverage for new illnesses linked to exposure by the National Academy of Sciences, automatically providing benefits to veterans exposed to Agent Orange suffering from designated conditions.”
In a statement released by the Gillum campaign, President Obama noted that “Andrew is a proven fighter with the courage and determination to stand up for Florida families. Andrew will fight to put the priorities of everyday people first.”
Joshua Karp, a spokesperson for the Gillum campaign, commented that “The type of language this young man used on social media before his employment with our campaign is unacceptable and he will no longer be working with the campaign.”
