The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a warning to a swath of U.S. tech companies, deeming them as “legitimate targets” for their alleged involvement in combat operations conducted by the U.S. and Israel against the Islamic Republic.
“From now on, for every assassination, an American company will be destroyed,” the IRGC said in a Guard-affiliated Telegram channel, threatening companies such as Apple, Oracle, Palantir, Microsoft, Google, and JPMorgan Chase.
Calling it “Statement No.51,” the IRGC listed Cisco, HP, Intel, Nvidia, IBM, Dell, Tesla, GE, Spire Solutions, Boeing, and UAE-based artificial intelligence company G42 as contributors to the planning and execution of attacks that have led to the deaths of Iranian citizens.
According to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), “the Revolutionary Guard asserted American information and communications technology, and artificial intelligence firms play a central role in identifying and tracking targets.”
“Attacks on those companies would begin from 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, Tehran time (12:30 p.m. EDT),” CNBC reported.
The Guard warned employees of the companies in the region to leave their workplaces and advised individuals living within a one-kilometer radius of the firms’ facilities, according to a state-media post on X.
“The safety and wellbeing of our team is our number one priority,” an Intel spokesperson said in a statement to CNBC. “We are taking steps to safeguard and support our workers and facilities in the Middle East and are actively monitoring the situation.”
In recent years, U.S. tech firms such as Microsoft and OpenAI have partnered with Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar to invest billions of dollars in data centers along the Middle East.
According to Human Rights Activist News Agency, more than 3,400 Iranian civilians and military personnel have been killed since the launch of “Operation Epic Fury” on Feb. 28, 2026.
