Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced his endorsement of Former Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer in his bid for the Republican nomination in Florida's Congressional District 14 seat this week.

".@ScottSingerUSA is a proven conservative. As Mayor of Boca Raton, he consistently fought to lower taxes, support small businesses, and stand strong behind law enforcement. We need solid leaders in Congress who will fight for the Free State of Florida, and he has my endorsement," Uthmeier wrote.

Attorney General Uthmeier's endorsement comes after support from Bay Harbor Islands Mayor Issac Salver, Bal Harbour Mayor Seth Salvar, Surfside Mayor Shlomo Danzinger, Golden Beach Mayor Glenn Singer, North Bay Village Vice Mayor Goran Cuk for Singer also this week in his CD 14 race. Singer was also endorsed by U.S. Rep. Carlos Gimenez (R-FL) last month, as well as Deerfield Beach Mayor Todd Drosky, Deerfield Beach City Commissioner Michael Hudak, Weston Mayor Margeret (Peggy) Brown, Highland Beach Mayor Natasha Moore, Delray Beach Mayor Tom Carney, and Hillsboro Beach Commissioner Jane Reiser.

District 25 runs from Palm Beach County to Miami Beach in Miami-Dade County in South Florida. Singer, who was mayor of Boca Raton from 2018 to 2026, announced his run for the seat in April.

Singer thanked Attorney General Uthmeier for his endorsement.

"Honored and truly humbled that our Attorney General, James Uthmeier, a great leader and fighter for justice has endorsed me for Congress," Singer wrote.

Singer is in a Republican primary with George Moraitis, Dan Franzese, Joe Kaufman, and Raven Harrison. Another candidate, Claudia Villatoro, suspended her campaign through a campaign release this week. Incumbent Jared Moskowitz is running on the Democratic ticket in CD 25, which was formerly re-drawn from Moskowitz's District 23 by the Florida Legislature in April and signed by Gov. Ron DeSantis in May.

Oliver Larkin is also on the Democratic ballot.
