The National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO) announced its endorsement of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Blaise Ingoglia for a full term as CFO this week.

The NAPO is a leading advocate for law enforcement professionals with over 1,000 police units and associations representing 240,000 officers across the country. In particular, the NAPO seeks to advance the interests of law enforcement personnel through "legislative advocacy, legal support and political action."

"On behalf of the National Association of Police Organizations, I am very pleased to formally announce NAPO's endorsement of Blaise Ingoglia for Florida Chief Financial Officer," NAPO President Michael McHale said in a statement.

"Throughout his career, Ingoglia has demonstrated strong, consistent leadership and a longstanding commitment to supporting the men and women of law enforcement. His record reflects a deep understanding of the challenges officers face and a dedication to ensuring they have the resources and backing needed to keep communities safe," McHale added.

Ingoglia thanked the NAPO for its endorsement.

“This endorsement is a tremendous honor,” Ingoglia said. “I have and always will stand with the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect our communities. As CFO, I remain committed to ensuring Florida continues to support and strengthen public safety.”

The NAPO's endorsement follows a string of support for Ingoglia, including U.S. Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL) and American Grit PAC this week. Gov. Ron DeSantis, the Republican Party of Florida, and more than 70 state lawmakers have also endorsed Ingoglia in his bid.

In addition to the NAPO, Ingoglia was endorsed by 60 Florida sheriffs last October. Ingoglia became CFO after being appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis in July 2025.

While the CFO election is set for November 3, 2026, Ingoglia is arguably the heavy favorite in the race with the trove of support. Ingoglia's primary competitor, Rep. Kevin Steele (R-Dade City), dropped out of the race in February, and other candidates have been largely quiet.
