60 Florida sheriffs have endorsed Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia in his bid for a full term as Florida's CFO in 2026, his campaign announced this week.
“The state of Florida has benefited from conservative leadership that has backed the blue and passed some of the toughest anti-crime laws — undoubtedly making our state stronger,” Ingoglia said in a release. “My entire career, I have supported law enforcement with a focused and common-sense approach to law and order, and I am honored to receive the endorsement of 60 Florida sheriffs. As your CFO, I pledge to always have unwavering support for the sacrifice you make protecting our communities. Thank you for your support.”
The endorsements include Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, one of the most well-known deputies in the country who is known for his outspoken and colorful press conferences on criminal investigations.
“I’m endorsing Blaise Ingoglia for CFO because he is a passionate professional leader, who loves the people of Florida and he is tough as nails on crime,” Judd said. “While other states cave to soft-on-crime laws, Blaise ensures that doesn’t happen here. Voting for Blaise Ingoglia is the smart and safe choice for the future of Florida.”
Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey, known for his blunt takes as well, is also backing Ingoglia.
“Florida is the law and order state, with a zero tolerance for crime, in large part that is thanks to leaders like Blaise Ingoglia," Ivey said. "Like me, Ingoglia understands that as public servants our responsibility is to serve and protect our citizens, and I have no doubt he will continue working to safeguard the rule of law and make sure our law enforcement officers have every resource they need!”
Other county sheriffs backing Inoglia include Rosie Cordero-Stutz (Miami-Dade), T.K. Waters (Duval), Chad Chronister (Hillsborough), and Bob Gualtieri (Pinellas).
“In the Florida Senate, Blaise Ingoglia proved himself an unshakable leader by putting the safety of Floridians first," Gualtieri said. "Blaise not only worked to keep our schools safe, he protected our communities from criminal illegal aliens and provided critical support to law enforcement officers across the state. I am proud to endorse him for Chief Financial Officer."
Ingoglia's support follows an endorsement from the Florida Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) earlier this month.
The CFO election is on Nov. 3, 2026.
