U.S. Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL) and American Grit PAC announced their endorsement of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Blaise Ingoglia for a full term as CFO this week.
Cammack, representing District 3, praised Ingoglia's record of fiscal responsibility and commitment to protecting Florida taxpayers in her endorsement.
"Blaise Ingoglia is the bold, no-nonsense conservative Florida needs as CFO - fearless with the facts, relentless with the budget, and ready to torch government waste," Cammack said in a statement. "Floridians deserve a watchdog, not a wallflower, someone who'll call out the bureaucratic nonsense and fights for every taxpayer dollar. That’s Blaise Ingoglia, and I’m fired up to stand with him."
Ingoglia thanked Rep. Cammack and the American Grit PAC for their endorsement.
"I am honored to have the support of Rep. Kat Cammack and American Grit PAC," Ingoglia said in a release. "Florida has led the nation in responsible budgeting and economic growth, and as CFO, I will work every day to protect taxpayers, promote transparency, and ensure our state remains financially strong for generations to come.”
Rep. Cammack's and America Grit's endorsements follow a string of support for Ingoglia, which includes Gov. Ron DeSantis, the Republican Party of Florida, and more than 70 state lawmakers.
Known as the state's "conservative pitbull," Ingoglia has uncovered $2.08 billion in excessive and wasteful spending in the General Fund Budget over the past two fiscal years across 16 counties and municipalities in the state, including $59 million in Flagler County, $199 million in Orange County, and $278 million in Hillsborough County.
Ingoglia became CFO in July 2025.
Before becoming CFO, Ingoglia served in the Florida Senate from 2022 to 2025 and the Florida House of Representatives from 2014 to 2022. He also served as chairman of the Florida GOP from 2015 to 2019.
With his latest round of endorsements, Ingoglia arguably has a clear path to winning the CFO election this fall.
Competitor Rep. Kevin Steele (R-Dade City) dropped out of the race in February, and "Shark Tank" entrepreneur John Smith has been largely inactive.
