U.S. Rep. Aaron Bean (R-FL) announced his endorsement of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Blaise Ingoglia for a full term as CFO in a statement this week.

"I have seen firsthand Blaise Ingoglia's commitment to protecting our freedoms, growing Florida's economy, and standing strong for our shared values," Bean said. "Blaise has the integrity, work ethic, and vision our state needs, and I'm proud to support him for Florida CFO."

Ingoglia thanked Rep. Bean for his endorsement.

"I'm honored to have Congressman Bean's endorsement. He has been a strong voice for Florida in Washington, and I look forward to continuing our shared mission of keeping Florida financially strong, safe, and free."

Rep. Bean serves Florida's 4th Congressional District, which includes all of Nassau County, Clay County, and parts of Duval County in North Florida. Bean has represented CD 4 since 2023.

His endorsement follows a string of support for Ingoglia, including U.S. Reps. Brian Mast and Kat Cammack earlier this month. Gov. Ron DeSantis, the Republican Party of Florida, more than 70 state lawmakers, 60 Florida sheriffs, American Grit PAC, Associated Industries of Florida, and the National Association of Police Organizations have also endorsed Ingoglia in his bid.

Ingoglia became CFO after being appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis in July 2025. Since becoming CFO, Ingoglia has uncovered over two billion in waste, fraud, and abuse from counties and municipalities across the state.

Findings have included $278 million in Hillsborough County, $199 million in Orange County, and $189 million in Broward County. Ingoglia also uncovered $59 million in Flagler County in March.

Fitting, as Ingoglia is known as the state's "conservative pitbull."

The CFO election is on Nov. 3, 2026, where Ingoglia is arguably the clear frontrunner. His main competitor, Rep. Kevin Steele (R-Dade City), dropped out of the race earlier this year, and other candidates, including "Shark Tank" CEO John Smith, have been relatively inactive.
