U.S. Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) announced his endorsement of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Blaise Ingoglia for a full term as CFO in a statement this week.

"Blaise Ingoglia has demonstrated steadfast leadership and a clear commitment to protecting Florida’s taxpayers,” Mast said. “His record of fiscal discipline, integrity and accountability makes him exceptionally well-qualified to serve as Chief Financial Officer.”

Ingoglia thanked Rep. Mast for his endorsement.

"Honored to have the support of Congressman @BrianMastFL in my campaign for a full term as Chief Financial Officer," Ingoglia wrote. "The Veteran community in Florida is strong. I‘m honored to have the support of an American hero who has served our country on the battlefield and in the halls of Congress."

Rep. Mast serves Florida's 21st Congressional District, which includes Palm, Martin, and St. Lucie counties along the Treasure Coast. Mast is also a U.S. veteran, having served for over a decade, including in Afghanistan.

Mast lost both of his legs after being injured by an improvised explosive device (IED) in Afghanistan in 2010.

His endorsement follows a string of support for Ingoglia, including U.S. Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL) and American Grit PAC earlier this month. Ingoglia was also endorsed by the National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO). The NAPO is a leading advocate for law enforcement professionals with over 1,000 police units and associations representing 240,000 officers across the country.

Ingoglia became CFO after being appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis in July 2025. Since becoming CFO, Ingoglia has uncovered over two billion in waste, fraud, and abuse from counties and municipalities across the state.

As CFO, Ingoglia also serves as Florida's Fire Marshal.

The CFO election is on Nov. 3, 2026, where Ingoglia is arguably the clear favorite. His main competitor, Rep. Kevin Steele (R-Dade City), dropped out of the race earlier this year, and other candidates have been relatively quiet.
