After Secretary Hillary Clinton faced U.S. House Oversight Committee Republicans over Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal past, former President Bill Clinton is set to give his own deposition. During an appearance on Fox News’s Jesse Watters Primetime, Representative Anna Paulina Luna criticized Secretary Clinton’s responses, suggesting that President Donald Trump is “exonerated.”

During Secretary Clinton’s deposition, she was questioned about photos in the Epstein Files where President Clinton is present. In response, Secretary Clinton said that the Oversight Committee should direct all questions to President Clinton.

Rep. Luna noted that this is part of the rules regarding statements under oath, explaining that there are protected communications between spouses.

However, Rep. Luna believes there is a greater interest in the possibility that Epstein was a foreign intelligence asset, and that Congress should investigate alleged female co-conspirators of Epstein.

"That seems to be something that the liberal media does not want to touch or talk about," the Florida congresswoman noted. "I will also state that if you are looking at Jeffrey Epstein's people that he interacted with specifically, I definitely think it is safe to say, and I think the American people agree with me, even though Secretary Clinton might not have been able to officially admit it, that she did seem to at least be perceptive to the idea that he was tied to foreign intelligence."

In a press conference after the deposition, Secretary Clinton was asked about Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s chief procurer and co-conspirator, being present at Chelsea Clinton’s wedding. Secretary Clinton simply responded that “[Maxwell] came as the plus one, the guest of someone who was invited.” However, she did not specify who that “someone” was.

Rep. Luna commented that both president Clinton and President Donald Trump have both said they cut ties with Epstein before he was charged, yet the reaction from Democrats is different. She argues that Democrats are trying to implicate Trump in wrongdoing while not applying the same standard to President Clinton.

"I actually brought this up in the press gaggle today," Luna noted. "We have asked the victims specifically on whether or not President Trump had hurt them, and he was exonerated. He released the files, and they do not want to report that. What they want to try and do is take this and have us say on record whether or not we will subpoena the President to come testify, in which I respond, 'The President is not considered a person of interest in this investigation.'"
