Florida Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Blaise Ingoglia has picked up a pair of endorsements from Professional Firefighters/Paramedics of Palm Beach County and the Hernando County Professional Firefighters in his election for a full term as CFO in 2026.
"Your advocacy for and understanding of public safety issues is commendable. You have demonstrated strong leadership qualities and fearlessness," the Professional Firefighters/Paramedics of PBC wrote in a statement. "The residents of the State of Florida are fortunate to have someone like you who has worked tirelessly for their interests."
"Blaise Ingoglia's record of standing with Florida firefighters is long and proven. In our hometown of Hernando County, he is always supportive and consistent of making sure public safety is the number one priority for our local elected officials," the Hernando County Professional Firefighters added.
They further highlighted that Ingoglia has "consistently championed and supported legislation to establish and improve firefighter cancer protections, health safety and retirement security," noting that "as Florida's Chief Financial Officer and State Fire Marshal, he is carrying on that same commitment into action."
Ingoglia served Hernando County in the Florida House of Representatives from 2014 to 2022 before serving in the Senate from 2022 to 2025. Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Ingoglia as CFO in July.
He announced for a full term as Florida's CFO in September. The CFO also serves as the State Fire Marshal.
"Our members know when it comes to firefighter safety, health, and the resources we need to serve the public, Blaise Ingoglia will put our priorities first," the Hernando County Professional Firefighters continued. "He has worked to ensure that Florida leads the way in advancing protections for firefighters, holding gear manufacturers accountable, and making certain that our families are safeguarded from the risk of this dangerous profession."
The CFO election is set for Nov. 3, 2026.
