Rep. Cory Mills: "Workers without pay: From air traffickers controllers and Border Patrol to Coast Guard crews, federal firefighters, and FBI agents, millions of Americans who protect our nation are being forced to work without pay. Unlike federal employees, contractors will never see backpay -resulting in persistent wage losses for millions of families."

Governor Ron DeSantis: "As the Supreme Court's term kicks off, the question of whether it is unconstitutional to racially gerrymander congressional districts will be decided. If the Court rules that racial gerrymandering violates the Constitution, that would have implications for mid-decade redistricting in a number of states, including Florida. We anticipate the Court to agree with the @CivilRights Division that it does, in fact, violate the Constitution."

Rep. Jared Moskowitz: "I was grateful to sit down with workers from @AFSCME to hear how recent decisions out of Washington are threatening the programs they rely on. Our government should work for working families -- and that means taking real, concrete steps to protect their lifesaving health care."

Rep. Vern Buchanan: "Democrats need to realize the damage their shutdown is causing in our communities. Florida's farmers are feeling the impact firsthand with critical programs frozen, disaster aid delayed and vital support for crops at risk."
