Senator Ashley Moody (R-FL) discussed the fallout of the "Arctic Frost" scandal in a recent appearance on Fox and Friends First, sharing that Congress was "shocked" by the news that a dozen Senators had been spied on.

As The Floridian reported, the FBI, under President Joe Biden, monitored the phones of multiple lawmakers as part of its January 6th investigation, as revealed by Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA). The Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing on the matter.

"That shocked those of us on the Hill," Sen. Moody expressed. "We cannot believe that this has been uncovered. We are grateful for the FBI for digging in and giving us these documents. I gotta give it to Chuck Grassley: That guy does not let up. He is so tenacious in uncovering some of the shenanigans and really the duplicity that was going on under the last administration."

Sen. Moody was questioned on why she believed the specific twelve were monitored by the Biden FBI. The Florida Senator responded  that members of the Senate Judiciary Committee were among the twelve, and thus had an incentive to question the FBI during the hearing.

"I can tell you, as a former Attorney General and as a former federal prosecutor before I was an Attorney General," Moody detailed, "when you get a grand jury subpoena that goes out, you are saying that the information you are seeking is relating to an ongoing criminal investigation and inquiry. So it is shocking to me that these were sought, and even more shocking that the Hill and those on the Hill that are charged with oversight of these agencies are just being informed that this went out."

Similarly, Representative Abe Hamadeh (R-AZ) recently revealed that he, too, had been monitored by the government as part of the "Quiet Skies" program.

"We looked at it, and one of the times that I was flagged was December of 2022," Rep. Hamadeh recalled during an interview with Fox News Digital. "And what is interesting about that is that that was during the time period that I was challenging the result of my election in 2022 when I was running for Attorney General [of Arizona]."
