Perez Accuses DeSantis of 'Lying' About Spurning Wives of Killed, Wounded Officers

Ron DeSantis-Today, I joined Executive Director Dave Kerner of

@FLHSMVToday to advocate for pay raises and funding for our Florida State Troopers and other state law enforcement to continue to keep our communities safe across the state.

In my Focus on Fiscal Responsibility proposed state budget, I advocated for a 20% pay raise for state entry-level officers and a 25% pay raise for veteran officers and all state firefighters.

Conversely, the Florida House's proposed budget defunds critical resources from state law enforcement, including cutting 84 state trooper positions and eliminating pay raises for state law enforcement.

Once again, the House's priorities are misplaced.

Don't play games with law enforcement.
