Representative Greg Steube (R-FL) fiercely criticized Democrats' resistance to President Donald Trump's border agenda and activist judges who are ruling against him in a recent appearance on Fox Business's Evening Edit, calling it "disgusting."

The host began picking up from a discussion with a previous guest about the recent conviction of Victor Martinez-Hernandez, an El Salvadoran illegal alien, for the 2023 rape and murder of Rachel Morin, asking Rep. Steube if Democrats have anything to say about the policies that let Martinez-Hernandez in.

"No, the Biden Administration and Democrats are the party of open borders," Rep. Steube answered, "And your last guest was exactly right: They created this. They had an open border policy that allowed all of these illegals, criminals, and terrorists to come into our country and kill Americans. I mean, that is not even getting into the fentanyl and all of the other things that are coming across the border, that are endangering and killing Americans in a direct sense through the cartels."

The Florida Congressman further accused Democrats of intending to allow millions of illegal aliens into the country so they could vote, which he called "disgusting." He added that he is "so proud and happy that we have a President now in office that is standing for a secure border and for national security to get these people out of our country."

The discussion turned to the latest instance of a judge blocking a Trump order in the form of Obama-appointed Judge Indira Talwani, who argued that Trump could not revoke the status of over 500,000 migrants admitted into the country via the controversial CHNV parole program established by the Biden Administration, and each case must be decided individually.

Steube said of the decision that "as a lawyer, it is insane to think that a parole program created by executive order through Joe Biden cannot be removed by President Trump through executive order."

"I mean, this is basic law school stuff, which shows you how the politicization of the [Department of Justice]. This is an Obama-appointed judge who ruled this way. Anybody with legal knowledge would tell you that if something was created by executive order, it can be removed by executive order," Steube concluded.
