A bombshell report has revealed that 26 informants for the FBI were present on January 6th, 2021, years after the Bureau adamantly denied such a claim. Representative Kat Cammack (R-FL) discussed the report and torched the politicization of law enforcement in a recent appearance on Fox Business's Evening Edit, saying President-elect Donald Trump's new FBI Director Kash Patel will "clean house."
The New York Post detailed how 26 informants were in the crowds on January 6th, with four entering the Capitol and thirteen entering restricted areas. All but nine were found to have engaged in illegal activity, but the report denied that agents intentionally stirred the unrest.
Even then, Rep. Cammack said, "There is still so much to dig into, and I think this report is just the beginning of really telling the full story of what happened that day," then referencing cases such as Rebecca Lavernz, the "praying grandma" when she added, "It is ludicrous what we have seen and the vigor by which the FBI has gone after and weaponized the agency to go after these people, and now we are finding out years, quite literally years, of them dodging questions from elected members of Congress, from hiding the truth that there were, in fact, informants there on January 6th."
"So I know that when we have Donald J. Trump back in office, we will actually get the answers that the American people deserve, of what exactly the FBI knew, what their directives were, and who issued them. We have a long way to go, but the American people deserve the truth," the Florida Congresswoman continued.
Host Elizabeth MacDonald further noted that the FBI had spied on Kash Patel during his time investigating the Trump-Russia collusion narrative, in which he uncovered evidence of surveillance abuse and the rationale for the case was bogus, asking Rep. Cammack why the FBI did so.
Cammack replied, "Simply put, it is retaliation. It is retaliation because the political swamp creatures of Washington, D.C., and those in particular at the FBI have been caught red-handed. And they knew that people were getting close to uncovering the truth, and that is why you are seeing people like Kash Patel and others being investigated and gone after. What you are about to see is the whole situation of 'you f around, you are going to find out.' Those political swamp creatures are about to find out because Kash Patel is about to be the big man in charge, and he is going to clean house and give the American people the transparent law enforcement agency they deserve, not the lawbreaking agency they have been given."
