The verdict is out, and President Donald Trump (R) has been found guilty on all 34 federal charges related to his hush money case. While President Trump is expected to appeal the ruling, Florida Republicans are responding with criticism over the nature of the trial.

Florida Rep. Mike Waltz (R), who attended court with President Trump early in the trial, took to social media to share that the trial is an attempt to get the Republican presidential challenger off the ballot.

"The genie is out of the bottle," he announced. "This trial was always about taking President Trump off the ballot because Biden has nothing else to run on."

"Democrats tried to remove Trump off the ballot in Maine & Colorado. They unleashed a politicized justice system against him," Rep. Waltz commented. "This judge, jurisdiction, and jury instructions preordained President's [sic] Trump's legal fate."

Florida Senator Marco Rubio (R), who's reportedly being considered for vice president, also weighed in on the verdict, calling it "a complete travesty that makes a mockery of our system of justice."

He went on to call it "A political show trial conducted by an openly pro-Biden judge whose daughter makes money off the case, a jury from the most liberal county in America, absurd and ridiculous charges and outrageous jury instructions that guaranteed guilty verdicts Biden."

Florida Rep. Byron Donalds (R), who's also attended court with President Trump, maintained that the president is innocent, adding that "what happened in NY is [a] disaster verdict by a crooked prosecution." "To hell with what the jury said."

After the verdict was announced, President Trump spoke to reporters, noting that "the real verdict is going to be November 5th." "This was a disgrace. This was a rigged trial by a conflicted Judge who was corrupt... we'll keep fighting. We'll fight to the end, and we'll win."
