Iran launched an unprecedented strike on Israel with hundreds of drones and missiles over the weekend in retaliation for the death of a commander in an Israeli drone strike in Syria, leaving the world reeling and possibly on the brink of war. Representative Cory Mills (R-FL) appeared on Fox and Friends First to discuss how Congress will act in response, blasting Senate Democrats for wanting to tie Ukraine aid into any foreign package and without any pro-America "riders."

Rep. Mills reminded viewers that House Republicans had already passed a $14 billion aid package for Israel offsetting funds toward the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), yet "the Senate and [Senator] Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has refused to try and support our ally. Why they have actually done it is because they want more money for Ukraine."

Additionally, he reiterated the suspicions of Republicans about the funds going to Ukraine, wanting audits and answers about the overall goal of supporting the country as they fight the Russian invasion. At the same time, Rep. Mills called for an aid package to Israel "that is not going to drive Americans into economic default."

Host Todd Piro asked Mills if he expected a "push" for Ukraine funding in any Israel aid bills, which he affirmed saying, "We have got so many people who are just Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine. I wish they were America, America, America. But unfortunately, our border wall, and our open invasion that is going on in the South and the North, has been completely ignored for everyone else's priorities."

As a result, Mills stipulated that if Ukraine must be tied into Israel, "at least make sure that you have got policy riders like [House Resolution] 1, the Lower Energy Costs Act that is going to help build economic growth in America."

"Let us start prioritizing America First. Let us start trying to get policy riders that are going to be supporting America as well as for our allies abroad if that is what is necessary," Mills continued.

Similarly, in a recent appearance on CNN's State of the Union, Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) blasted the Biden Administration for its recent announcement saying they would not aid Israel in a counterstrike on Iran, which he blamed as the White House as doing "to appease the so-called peace activists."

Mills agreed with Sen. Rubio, saying, "You cannot be pro-Iran and pro-Israel at the same time. We have to be able to defend our allies, but we also have to understand that this happened because of Joe Biden's weakness on the world stage and because of his release of tens of billions of dollars in fungible assets."
