DeSantis Wins 4th Debate in Alabama

As expected, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis gave an outstanding performance at the fourth Republican presidential primary debate in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Gov. DeSantis appeared on top of his game, looking more comfortable on stage than he's appeared in the past three debates.

The field of candidates has significantly narrowed—Vivek Ramaswamy, Nikki Haley, Chris Christie, and DeSantis

While Gov. Christie skewered Ramaswamy, and as Ramaswamy continued his one-man wrecking ball campaign against former Ambassador Nikki Haley, DeSantis stayed above the fray, and passionately (without many quirks and fake smiles) disseminated his campaign message.

Ambassador Haley did well, as always, but this was DeSantis's night.

Also, it appears as if DeSantis took our advice and bought a new tailored suit.

But while DeSantis won the night, the real overall winner of the debate was former President Donald Trump, who has skipped all of the debates.

Trump contends that he doesn't need to debate anyone because he is way up in the polls. That's a good point.

DeSantis keeps calling Trump out to debate him, but those requests have fallen on deaf ears.

With the Iowa Caucuses a month away, Trump continues to crush the field of candidates in all the public opinion polls.

DeSantis "influencers" and surrogates are frantically trying to spin and argue that ALL the polls being conducted are "fake" and paid for by Trump.

No one is buying that pile of bullshit.

Squeezers

Ron DeSantis- We need a reckoning for what this government did during COVID-19.

State Rep. Angie Nixon-Our greed and cell phone addiction has led to Black Babies in Congo basically becoming slaves. Please educate yourself of the crisis happening and support this organization as they work to help combat this. @congofriends

Carolina Amesty-It was an honor to meet with Mothers Against Drunk Driving to discuss House Bill 79. This bill will require those convicted of causing a death while driving drunk to pay child support if the victim’s children are minors. Florida is a pro-family state and I will continue to make the well-being of every child my top priority.

Sen. Jason Pizzo-Someone tell @GovRonDeSantis that prosecutors are called State Attorneys in Florida, not District Attorneys.

Rep. Matt Gaetz-Former @SpeakerMcCarthy is quitting Congress. He’s essentially saying if he cannot run the place as Speaker, then he will leave.

There’s an Establishment Exodus from the House Republican Conference. It’s my hope that we backfill these establishment entities with folks who are willing to fight for the America First agenda.

But for all of the self-congratulatory videos that McCarthy may make, his unwillingness to stay and vote for even the most basic Republican priorities until the end of his term may imperil our ability to get the job done.

Gus Bilirakis-During our oversight hearing this week, I asked @NTIAgov officials about the implementation of programs to improve broadband connectivity in rural areas. I want to be sure our community receives its fair share of allocated funds.

Jared Moskowitz -It’s time to make significant changes at the border. We should do that with Ukraine and Israel and humanitarian funding.
