Washington, D.C.- Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) has filed a resolution urging President Joe Biden to rescind the visas of foreign nationals in support of Hamas or other terrorist groups.
Senator Rubio called on fellow Democrat senators to support him in this effort via unanimous consent to demonstrate ubiquitous support for Israel and opposition to Hamas sympathizers.
“What I am saying is common sense,” said Rubio. “You’re a visitor…You’re here because we gave you a visa to be here temporarily. And now you’re out there defending and supporting Hamas, a terrorist organization. You need to go.”

Rubio’s statements are directed at professors, students, and any individuals in the US with a temporary residence visa, who publicly support Hamas or others in their war against Israel.
Rubio’s initiative follows Hamas’ brutal attacks on Israel, which Palestinians in the West Bank and some individuals across the world, including the US, celebrated.
““It is a blessing to live in America and any individual that is promoting Hamas should have that privilege revoked,” continued Rubio via press release.
Pressure has been piling on Biden and Democrats, who have pledged their support for Israel in its struggle to defend itself against Hamas, to act on their promises.
Earlier this week, House Representative Brian Mast (R-FL) introduced legislation to stop the flow of US aid into Palestinian-controlled territories.
Representative Mast’s proposal would prevent funds from being sent to either the Palestinian National Authority-controlled West Bank or Hamas-controlled Gaza.
Additionally, Mast introduced the Hamas International Financing Prevention Act late last week to sanction any entities directly financing Hamas.
