U.S. Rep. Carlos Gimenez, (R) has posted a condemning on social media over the attack on Pro-Israel demonstrators in Boulder, Colorado.

He called the attack “a vile act of hate” and for the US to stand against all forms of antisemitism and domestic terrorism.

Rep. Gimenez closes out his statement, urging federal and local authorities to “act swiftly to bring the perpetrator to justice.”

In a similar vein, Fla. Sen. Rick Scott, (R) also expressed is thoughts about the unprovoked attack.

“What happened in Boulder today is horrific. This was a targeted antisemitic terrorist attack against innocent, pro-Israel activists calling for every hostage to be returned home, and it’s a continuation of an alarming increase in violence against our Jewish community," Sen. Scott said.

“To our nation’s Jewish community—you are not alone. We stand with you and will not rest until these evil monsters are brought to justice.” stated Sen. Scott.

U.S. Rep. Mario Díaz Balart, (R), commented on the rise of anti-semitism in the U.S.

“The alarming rise of antisemitism across our communities is deeply disturbing and endangering the lives of Jewish Americans and those calling for the release of the hostages still held captive by Hamas," said Rep. Diaz-Balart.

The suspect, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, an Egyptian national, was armed with a makeshift flamethrower and threw makeshift incendiary devices into the crowd while yelling “Free Palestine.”

This attack on the demonstrators in Boulder comes only mere days after another attack on two Israeli embassy staffers outside of a Jewish museum in Washington state.

The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, released a statement on Monday saying "My wife and I and the entire state of Israel pray for the full recovery of the wounded in the vicious terror attack that took place in Boulder Colorado."

“This attack was aimed against peaceful people who wished to express their solidarity with the hostages held by Hamas, simply because they were Jews,” Netanyahu said.
