Death to Child Rapists

The Florida Legislature has approved the death penalty for individuals convicted of raping children. Death to child rapists.

This is great news.

“We have a completely different (U.S.) Supreme Court makeup,” said Senator Jonathan Martin, the bill’s sponsor.  “We have a completely different Florida Supreme Court makeup than when Kennedy v. Louisiana was issued. I know everybody in this room hopes that nobody is put to death for this crime. Because if someone is put to death for this crime, it means that a poor innocent child was raped.” READ MORE

Vintage Randy Fine

State Reps. Randy Fine and Anna Eskamani, who are at polar opposites in the world of Florida Politics, jousted on the floor of the House of Representatives during a debate on the Protection of Children Act.

Rep. María Elvira Salazar-Today is #YomHaShoah, a solemn day to commemorate the 6 million Jews who were murdered in the Holocaust. We remember the martyrs and heroes, those we lost, and those who survived. I vow to ensure future generations learn to #NeverForget!

Rick Scott-The Holocaust is more than a history lesson. It's a stark reminder that evil & hate exist in this world.

Our memory & support of all of those who suffered must never weaken. Every generation must heed the call to action in the face of evil, & as U.S. Senator, I'll continue to support Israel & take action against those who wish to do them harm.

Rep. Darren Soto-Today is #HolocaustRemembranceDay.

We pause to grieve the six million Jewish people who lost their lives due to Nazi persecution and honor the heroism of survivors and their rescuers. May we never allow this dark chapter in history to be repeated.

State Senator Tina Polsky-Today we remember the victims of the Holocaust but it is so upsetting that anti-semitism is on the rise and there are many leaders who not only fail to condemn this behavior, but actively cultivate it. We all need to continue to fight this hate otherwise it can happen again.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz-The DeSantis agenda: demonize Disney, pander to the NRA, and pass 1 of the most extreme abortion bans ever. #FLA deserves better, and doesn't want this.
