Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) and Disney have shared a rivalry that came to a head this week when Disney filed a lawsuit against him. Although she did not directly name DeSantis in her comments, South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley (R) appears to have taken a political dig.

Haley suggested that she would be "happy" if Disney moved to South Carolina.

Last week, Governor DeSantis and his wife Casey DeSantis traveled to South Carolina, Casey DeSantis' college stomping grounds. While there, Governor DeSantis shared his "Florida Blueprint."

Though DeSantis has not announced a 2024 presidential run, Republicans that have announced their campaign have directed choice words at the Florida Governor, seeing him as a threat.

Amidst the battle between Disney and DeSantis, Governor Haley spoke to FOX News, saying that she would be "happy" to introduce Disney to South Carolina's Governor and legislature.

Sharing the interview segment on social media, Haley said that South Carolina "will happily accept your [Disney] 70,000+ jobs if you want to leave Florida." "We've got great weather, great people, and it's always a great day in South Carolina!" Haley added, saying that South Carolina is "not woke, but we're not sanctimonious about it either."

DeSantis has grown in popularity amongst Republicans, but he's also been the subject of President Donald Trump's (R) attacks, who's dubbed him "Ron DeSanctimonious." Although Haley did not mention DeSantis by name, it appears that she was referencing DeSantis' nick name.

In response to the political swipe, Never Back Down, a Super PAC supporting a DeSantis presidential run, took to social media to comment.

"Embracing woke corporations and copying Trump's lame attack at the same time? Someone's trying really hard to audition for VP!" the group responded.

Haley served under the Trump administration as the Ambassador to the United Nations, and while she hasn't directly criticized President Trump on the campaign trail, she was the first Republican to launch a challenge against the former president.
