Team DeSantis continues to direct its fury on President Joe Biden (D) with remarks about his record in office. Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is facing Rep. Charlie Crist in the upcoming midterm election, has also maintained a rivalry with the President. In a message to supporters, the Governor’s team reiterated comments from DeSantis, slamming President Biden's record in office while also calling him “the American Nero.”

Last week, President Biden held a speech that was met with mixed reviews.

The speech, primarily aimed against “MAGA Republicans” and President Donald Trump (R), a potential 2024 rival, was criticized for its “blood red” lighting and subject matter.

GOP critics have argued that Biden has failed on his promise to be “a unifier” by instead dividing the country further with examples such as the speech given at Philadelphia’s Independence Hall.

“Last week, Joe Biden delivered one of the most disgusting speeches an American president has ever given,” said Team DeSantis, adding that instead of unifying the country, “Brandon is saying to the vast majority of the country that disapproves of him that they’re a threat to the republic.”

Calling Biden “a failed leader,” they added that “he dodders, he lashes out, he labels anyone who dares to dissent from the Regime a fascist – but at the end of the day, his policies are why Americans reject him.”

Biden’s “failed” leadership according to the Team includes “record-setting inflation, open border concerns, supporting “the reckless defund the police agenda,” colluding “with teachers’ unions to keep kids out of school” among other issues.

Republicans like DeSantis have pointed out that Biden’s approval rating has taken a significant hit, and they’re hoping that the upcoming midterm election ushers in a “red wave” that will result in a path to the GOP winning the White House in 2024.

“Under Governor DeSantis’ leadership, Florida is leading the fight to defend citizens from the Biden Administration’s destructive agenda and unconstitutional overreach,” Team DeSantis vowed.
