With the 2020 election looming closer, the NRCC is slamming Florida Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (D) as Public Enemy #1 in the sunshine state, calling her a progressive that is not willing to work across the aisle to ensure an effective and efficient change in the sunshine state.

In an email sent to supporters, the NRCC questioned if the Florida lawmaker was interested in fighting for police reform or if she just wanted to poison the well.

“When Debbie Mucarsel-Powell was elected, she promised to work with Republicans and Democrats to institute real change,” the NRCC admitted. They added that “in the wake of the George Floyd tragedy, Mucarsel-Powell promised her constituents that Congress was ‘taking action’ on police reform.”

So, now the NRCC is asking if she is willing to “work with Republicans in a bipartisan way to get it done, or will she continue to sit by quietly as the extremists in her party try poisoning the well?”

On the issue of designating ANTIFA as a terrorist organization, Republicans have staunchly supported the move that President Trump says he wants to pursue. However, Rep Mucarsel-Powell has received criticism from detractors for not directly answering if she believes this is the right move.

“I don’t personally know any member of the ANTIFA movement here in our community,” the Florida freshman said when asked earlier this month about ANTIFA being paid agitators to incite violent robbings and lootings in communities. She then questioned that if President Trump “has any evidence of this he needs to provide it especially to the judiciary committee as we conduct investigations.”

Because it is their job to do so, the NRCC is keeping very close tabs on 'DMP," and are accusing the freshman congresswoman of aligning herself with ANTIFA because she voted against legislation to look into the anarchist group, and "voting against prohibiting autonomous zones" like the crime-ridden CHAZ in Seattle, Washington.
