President Trump signs Coronavirus funding bill

After the U.S. Congress unanimously voted in favor of the Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act, President Donald Trump has just signed it into law before heading down to Florida for the weekend.

It’s rare to see members of the U.S. Congress finding common ground on just about anything these days, but in the case of the growing Coronavirus global outbreak, federally elected officials from both political parties are lock-step in addressing the virus.

“I’m proud we’ve put politics aside and unified to combat this pandemic,” stated Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D)
