Usually, Florida leads the state in ambitious reforms of all kinds, except alimony laws.  Yes, unlike 44 other states in the union, Florida has not ruled out perpetual alimony.  However, Rep. Anthony Rodriguez (R-118) hopes to change that by sponsoring HB 1599.
