The Palm Beach Police Benevolent Association (PBA or PBCPA) Inc. announced its endorsement of Florida congressional candidate Belinda Keiser in her District 22 bid by praising her commitment to law and order through a press statement this week.

“Belinda Keiser is a strong law and order conservative who understands the importance of protecting and supporting the men and women who keep our communities safe, and that’s why the Palm Beach Police Benevolent Association is proud to endorse her campaign for Congressional District 22,” PBCPA President John Kazanjian said. “In Washington, she will effectively advocate for the needs of law enforcement, defending the rule of law, holding criminals accountable and keeping our communities safe. We ask our members, their friends and families – and all citizens of Palm Beach County who respect the strong and efficient enforcement of our laws – to cast their ballots in support of Belinda Keiser.”

The PBA, founded in 2004, represents over 5,000 deputies across Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties in southern Florida.

Keiser thanked the PBA for its endorsement.

"I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of the Palm Beach Police Benevolent Association,” Keiser said. “Every day, the brave men and women of law enforcement put their lives on the line to protect our families, uphold the rule of law, and keep our communities safe. I understand the importance of what they do, and that’s why we made it a priority to have an interactive, hands-on training, the Multiple Interactive Learning Objective (MILO) simulator, available for our criminal justice and homeland security students at Keiser University. Our law enforcement deserve leaders who will always have their backs and in Congress, I will fight to ensure they have the resources, training and support they need to do their jobs safely and effectively. I am grateful to the Palm Beach Police Benevolent Association and its members for their trust and support, and I look forward to working alongside our law enforcement community to keep Florida's families safe, secure, and free."

CD 22 includes all of Hendry County and parts of Collier, Palm Beach, and Broward counties across southern Florida. Keiser, vice chancellor of Keiser University, is running against Casey Askar, David Burck, Michael Thompson, Terri Hasdorff, Michael Carbonara, and Richard Evans in the Republican primary on Aug. 18.
