With all the criticism he's received over his hesitation to shut down the entire state of Florida during the current Coronavirus pandemic, one would think that Gov. Ron DeSantis is ready to wave the white flag of surrender to Florida Democrats, right?
That doesn’t appear like it will happen anytime soon, as the first-term governor has doubled down on all his political and COVID-19 initiatives.
Democrats haven’t asked him to resign or demand he have his head mounted on a spike, but they sure wish Andrew Gillum would have defeated DeSantis back in 2018.
Yes, that Andrew Gillum.
“Why run for governor? Maybe he needed a different job,” question Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz on a press call “His jobs description includes executive authority in making decisions…It’s time Gov. DeSantis, your people are suffering, and we need to make sure that we can take care of them and weave that safety net tighter.?
Thankfully for Democrats, Gillum lost. Floridians dodged a bullet after it was discovered that Gillum was found naked and intoxicated in a Miami Beach hotel room where someone overdosed.
Gillum is in rehabilitation, but it appears as if the Miami Beach Police Department is trying to sweep the case under the rug, as numerous requests for the release of (2) police body cam videos of the incident have been ignored.
Now the Miami Beach PD is official on the clock as The Floridian has learned that a formal 5-day warning letter threatening civil litigation if the records requests are not addressed has been filed
Can you imagine the discovery that will come out in this case?
