The Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) highlighted a string of party statistics following Tuesday's primary election as it turns toward the November election "energized, organized, and united" for its GOP candidates.
- Republican ballots cast: 1,718,335
- Democrat ballots cast: 1,280,612
- Republican-Democrat margin: +437,723 (R+ 12.94% voter registration advantage)
- Republican-Democrat early voting: 448,54/305,517 (R+143,025)
- Republican advantage election day voting: 391,663
"The results underscore the strength and reach of the Republican Party of Florida," the Florida GOP wrote in a press release. "Republicans didn’t just run up the score in traditionally conservative strongholds – we competed across the map, built turnout in communities throughout the state, and demonstrated the grassroots strength that has transformed Florida into the nation’s premier Republican state."
Republican primary victories included U.S. Rep. Bryon Donalds (R-FL) for Florida governor, Sen. Ashley Moody (R-FL) for U.S. Senate, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier for attorney general, Florida Agricultural Commissioner Wilton Simpson for agricultural commissioner, and Florida Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Blaise Ingoglia for CFO.
The RPOF added it was "united" behind its nominees following Tuesday's results.
“Florida Republicans dominated this primary, and the message could not be clearer: Our voters are energized, our grassroots are strong, and the Florida GOP is ready to win,” Florida GOP Chairman Evan Power said. “We had spirited Republican primaries across Florida, but tonight we turn the page. We are one team with one mission: Elect Byron Donalds as Governor, re-elect Senator Moody, Attorney General Uthmeier, CFO Ingoglia and Commissioner Simpson, and elect Republicans up and down the ballot.”
It also called to start a "historic" Republican victory in November.
"The Florida GOP will take the energy, organization, and overwhelming grassroots strength demonstrated in this primary and carry it into November as we work to elect Republicans from the top of the ticket to the bottom, expand our majorities, and deliver another resounding victory for conservative leadership in Florida," the Florida GOP concluded.
The general election is Nov. 3.
