During an Oval Office ceremony, President Donald Trump announced new maternal healthcare resources for expectant mothers.

“In recognition of this ambitious agenda – to support American mothers –, today we are announcing a new website that is online right now, it's Moms.gov,” President Trump unveiled during the ceremony.

According to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the website supports new and expectant mothers by focusing on “supporting family formation, providing clear nutritional guidance, and improving affordability.”

During the announcement, HHS Deputy Assistant Secretary, Dr. Dorothy Fink, praised the Trump administration’s “historic steps to really strengthen support for American mothers and families.”

“With the launch of Moms.gov, we are highlighting all of the policy achievements that both, you, President Trump and Secretary Kennedy have advanced to support moms and babies,” Dr. Fink commented. “Moms.gov is a first-of-its-kind resource that offers all sorts of guidance and information to support the health and well-being of mothers and their families.”

Dr. Fink addressed the first Trump administration's implementation of the HHS's Perinatal Improvement Collaborative. According to the Office on Women's Health, the collaborative is a nationwide initiative across 200 hospitals overseen by OWH meant to improve maternal and infant health outcomes.

It does so by using data from the American Healthcare company, Premier Inc., to identify best practices, reduce disparities, and cut down on preventable deaths and complications in maternal care.

“I just wanted to stress how what a huge win for the MAHA (Make America Healthy Again) and the pro-life movement. Moms.gov. It is one-stop shopping for IVF [(In Vitro Fertilization)], for prenatal care, for postnatal care, for nutrition, for baby formula, and, of course, for TrumpRx,” Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. expressed.
