The Gorillaz are returning to Florida in September for “The Mountain Tour.”

Created by musician Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett in 1988, the virtual band released their self-titled album in 2001 to positive reviews. Since then, the fictional group composed of 2-D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle, and Russel Hobbs, has released critically acclaimed albums that explore musical styles like hip hop, electronic, trip hop, and more.

The group has collaborated with numerous artists over the years. Most recently, the Gorillaz collaborated with Bad Bunny - who performed at this year’s Super Bowl Halftime show – on the song “Tormenta” from the group’s 2023 album Cracker Island.

The Mountain, the group’s first album in three years, was released over the weekend to universal acclaim. The album draws heavily from Indian classical instrumentation, and it features artists performing in multiple languages including English, Arabic, Hindi, Spanish, and Yoruba.

Inspired by the death of close family members, Albarn and Hewlett described the album as an effort to explore ideas of death and the afterlife through the virtual band.

As part of “The Mountain Tour,” the Gorillaz will be performing in Florida for two nights.

On September 17, 2026, the group will perform at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida. The following night – September 18, 2026 – they will perform at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.

The Gorillaz last performed in Miami, Florida on October 23, 2022, at the FTX Arena (now Kaseya Center).

According to Ticketmaster, presale tickets for the groups Florida concerts go on sale March 6.

For their concert at the Kaseya Center in Miami, tickets go on sale Monday, March 9, at 10:00 A.M and presale tickets run from March 6 through March 8.
