State Rep. Meg Weinberger (R) gave every single member of the Florida House of Representatives (both Republican and Democrat) a legislative session-ending gift, but it appears as if not every lawmaker welcomed the gesture and cut up the gifted socks that were dropped off to lawmakers.

What's worse, the socks were returned to Rep. Weinberger's office.

Who made these socks?

Well, the socks were designed by Sammy Loudon, a youngster with Down Syndrome.

What's worse is that not only were the socks cut up, but the handouts explaining Sammy's story and his likeness were also cut into pieces.

One can only assume that House Democrats are responsible for the cutting of the socks.

Pretty shameful.
