WASHINGTON—“I believe every illegal immigrant is a criminal,” said outspoken Republican Rep. Randy Fine during an interview with The Floridian on the current Trump administration’s illegal immigration crackdown around the country.
Rep. Fine qualified his assertion that every illegal immigrant was a criminal with the fact that they all “broke the law to come here,” adding that “every single one needs to go home.”
“I believe every illegal immigrant is a criminal. Remember, they broke the law to come here. And I believe every single one needs to go home,” said Rep. Fine. “No exceptions. None. Zero. Not one. Not any.”
Fine also asserted that “the initial act of entry into this country was one of disrespect,” and that illegal aliens “do not respect the country” and needed to all go back home.
When asked about the current and targeted ICE deportation raids against human trafficking, drug importation, and other criminal acts, specifically in the Somali-heavy community in Minnesota, Fine argued that Somalis living in the U.S. “do not love America” and do not bring “value” to the country.
While President Donald Trump has called for a halt in immigration from developing countries, referring to those countries like Somalia as “Third-World” and “shithole countries," Fine referred to Somalis as “Dregs of the world.”
“And, just using the Somalis as an example, do not love America, do not share American values, do not want to integrate into America, and not only do they not want to add value, they’re all on welfare, and they’re engaged in the largest welfare fraud in American history. We should not be taking these people. There’s no right for the dregs of the world to come to the United States, and then suck off the taxpayers’ teet,” he added.
Oh, and Fine also took a shot at Rep. Ilhan Omar, calling for her denaturalization and deportation from the U.S.
“She should be denaturalized and deported. I mean, the woman hates America. She’s up to her eyeballs in both welfare fraud and immigration fraud. They should all go home,” said Fine. “They never should have been brought here in the first place. Immigration to the United States should be for people who love America, share American values, want to integrate into America, and want to add value to America.”
