State Rep. Meg "MAGA Meg" Weinberger (R) has filed legislation to rename Palm Beach International Airport to Donald J. Trump International Airport. Rep. Weinberger recently led the efforts to rename a Florida street after President Trump. The measure was filed this past Saturday, but it's in drafting.

Rep. Weinbeger co-sponsored a bill, HB 987, back in February to rename a four-mile stretch of Southern Boulevard between Kirk Road and South Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach County after the current and former president.

The road is also near Palm Beach National Airport and Trump's Mar-a-Lago Club. Trump became a permanent resident of Florida in 2019 after residing in New York City.

With Republicans holding a majority in the Florida state legislature, expect Weinberger's legislative measure to pass with flying colors.

This story is developing.
