MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — American Made Political Action Committee today announced the launch of a new digital advertising campaign in Florida’s 24th Congressional District highlighting State Senator Shevrin Jones’ support for legislation to rename Palm Beach International Airport after President Donald J. Trump.
The 30-second digital advertisement reminds voters that Jones voted twice in committee to advance the legislation, a proposal that would require Florida taxpayers to bear the costs associated with renaming the airport.
The advertisement contrasts Jones’ votes with the financial challenges facing working families and asks whether taxpayer dollars should be spent on political symbolism instead of addressing the issues that matter most to Floridians.
“Shevrin Jones’ record speaks for itself,” said a spokesperson for American Made PAC. “He voted twice to advance legislation renaming Palm Beach International Airport after President Donald J. Trump, despite the costs that would ultimately be borne by Florida taxpayers. Voters deserve to know where their candidates stand on his support for Donald Trump and the use of taxpayers’ dollars.”
The advertisement concludes by asking, “If we can’t trust Shevrin Jones in Tallahassee, how can we trust him in Washington?”
The digital advertisement is now running across online platforms throughout Florida’s 24th Congressional District as part of American Made PAC’s voter education efforts.
