President Donald Trump warned Iran that Israel would repeat its recent attacks at a larger scale if Iran continues refusing to negotiate an end to its nuclear development programs.
Israel recently struck key Iranian nuclear development facilities and personnel, weakening Iran’s capability to obtain nuclear weapons - a goal Iran has been steadfastly working towards for decades.
As reported by The Floridian’s Javier Manjarres, Israel targeted and eliminated Iran's nuclear enrichment sites, ballistic missile procurement facilities, and top military commanders, including Hossein Salami, the commander of Iran’sRevolutionary Guard.
“Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left,” cautioned President Trump, “the United States makes the best and most lethal military equipment anywhere in the World, BY FAR, and that Israel has a lot of it, with much more to come.”
Israel has justified its attacks as necessary given the existential threat Iran’s possession of nuclear weapons poses for its country and the US.
Iran Watch, an organization devoted to exposing Iran’s weapons development programs, recently reported Iran is dangerously close to obtaining nuclear weapons.
Iran Watch claimed Iran has “accomplished over 90% of the work needed to bring natural uranium to weapon-grade.”
Similarly, Israel claims Iran “is nearing a point of no return” in its quest to obtain nuclear weapons.
Iranian leaders have previously shamelessly voiced their intentions of “destroying” and bringing “death” to Israel, the US, and their allies.
Commander Salami, for example, who was recently killed by Israel’s strikes, once boasted he had a plan to “break the US, Israel, and their partners,” and that Iran’s military needed to “cleanse the world from their filthiness and from their existence.”
Iran is expected to respond to Israel’s attacks as the latter has reported it will continue striking Iranian nuclear development sites and personnel.
“The Zionist regime has prepared for itself a bitter and painful fate, and it will surely endure it,” warned Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.
The US has warned Iran against striking US targets and expressed its desire to continue negotiating an end to Iran’snuclear programs.
“Iran should not target U.S. interests or personnel,” stated State Secretary Marco Rubio, “our top priority is protecting American forces in the region.”
